Compliance with our Code of Ethics and Anti-Corruption Code of Conduct
Compliance with our Code of Ethics is central to managing our day-to-day operations. Within Equans BeLux entities, no objective is set and no decision is taken if its achievement would in any way deviate from our Code of Ethics.
Our Code of Ethics defines the three corporate values that all our employees share, regardless of their hierarchical position, the entity they are associated with, their project or the country in question: respect, integrity and responsibility.
Our Code of Ethics, together with our Anti-Corruption Code of Conduct, form the basis on which all our internal procedures and policies are based.
An ambitious compliance program
Today, our compliance program is based on four major themes:
- Compliance with competition laws,
- Compliance with economic sanctions and embargoes,
- Prevention of conflicts of interest,
- Compliance in financial information and stock exchange transactions.
This program, which is regularly updated to take account of new developments, enables us to achieve best practice by complying with applicable laws and our ethical rules.
A widely accessible whistleblowing platform
Our whistleblowing platform is accessible to all: employees of Equans BeLux, regardless of the nature of their employment contract (fixed-term/indefinite, temporary, etc.), subcontractors of Equans BeLux, as well as our customers, suppliers, etc.
Our platform is highly secure and allows you to report (also anonymously) any illegal or unethical act or behaviour. Reports can relate, for example, to harassment, corruption or fraud.
Honest reports are investigated by a team of specially trained staff bound by a duty of confidentiality.

Environmental protection, one of our priorities
As part of our daily activities, every employee must be aware of the role they have to play in protecting the environment. At their own level, they must ensure that their actions have as little impact on the environment as possible by, among other things, preserving biodiversity, protecting natural resources and managing waste.
